SCHEDULE: Type: On-site (remote work unavailable) Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM- 4:00 PM ET or 9:00 AM ET - 5:00 PM ET Location: Hollywood, FLRESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:
Coordinate paperwork completion with families Benefit checks Review and knowledge of all insurance company policy and requirements (INN, OON and SCA) Timely submissions of documentation and files to the participating insurance carriers Documenting work notes in database system for all communications and correspondences Consistent and efficient communication with parents, insurance companies and doctors offices Uploading of billing files and co-pay outreachAssist with training of new staff into Intake team. Performs other duties as required.
KEY SKILLS & BEHAVIORS: Ability to handle multiple projects at one time and work with remote and in person team members efficiently Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written skills and work cooperatively with a variety of individuals and groups General knowledge of billing issues, denials, appeals and insurance requirements and coverage Strong decision-making skills Must be able to work effectively with patients and families of all ages and cultural backgrounds Ability to maintain customer service orientation and professionalism in all interactions Adaptability to changing situations in a calm and professional manner Ability to handle confidential information (HIPPA compliant) Proven to thrive in administrative environments

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 2 years working in an office-based setting Previous experience in an Intake/Insurance related position preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) and related computer software Ability to communicate effectively
