People Operations Generalist to join our team.

Position Details
The
Human Resources Generalist will serve as a primary point of contact for our employees and will be responsible for resolving employee issues, answering questions, and providing reliable and accurate information in a manner consistent with the company’s policies, procedures, as well as applicable laws and union contracts using exemplary customer service and professionalism. This position will partner with members of the HR team, and operations to ensure the best possible employee experience.
General Responsibilities
- Serves as first line HR resource with the ability to respond and resolve a variety of Level 1 HR i inquiries including but not limited to: employee relations, benefits, unemployment, workers’ compensation, leaves of absence, pay, data changes, and HR policy and procedure.
- Appropriately route level 2 and 3 calls that come into HR Help Line or central email from employees and
- Works to facilitate resolution to employee issues as quickly as possible using excellent customer service
- When applicable, troubleshoot general employee issues using critical analysis and problem solving to resolve the issue before escalating or routing to another department.
- Provide high level customer service by ensuring employee questions are fully addressed and as needed, ensure proper follow up is given to ensure complete resolution.
- Use judgement to escalate HR inquiries to People Operations Manager or Directors when needed.
- Work on various HR projects as needed.
- Manage and executive level 1 processes such as Tuition Reimbursement, Vacation Donation
- Stay apprised of any changes to federal, state, and/or local labor laws.
- Works with other HR members, management or outside vendors as
- Work with People Operations team to identify trends and recommend solutions on HR strategies.
- Performs all other duties as assigned or required.
