About The Role
We are seeking an exceptional
Vice President of People Operations to architect and scale the HR foundation of our dynamic, rapidly growing organization. This visionary leader will be both a strategic partner and an operational powerhouse—overseeing and refining critical people functions, including
Talent Acquisition Operations, HR Business Partnerships, Compensation & Benefits, HRIS, Onboarding Logistics, Employee Relations, and
Compliance.
In this high-impact role, the VP will work in close partnership with our internal People leader who spearheads
Culture, Employee Experience, DEIB, and
Learning & Development. Together, they will ensure our People strategy is not only aligned and efficient but also future-focused and inspiring. Key Responsibilities Include
- Set and execute a long-term vision for People Operations aligned with organizational strategy
- Lead and develop a high-performing HR Business Partner team and serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership
- Optimize and scale systems and workflows across all areas of HR operations
- Oversee talent acquisition processes to ensure efficient and equitable hiring
- Manage compensation structures and benefits programs that reflect sector benchmarks and internal equity
- Ensure data-driven decision-making through effective HRIS management and reporting
- Manage operational aspects of onboarding and offboarding in collaboration with the culture and engagement team to deliver consistent and supportive employee experience
- Guide employee relations practices and ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws
- Lead risk mitigation and policy governance related to the employee lifecycle
- Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal laws and program regulatory requirements
- Partner across departments to support internal communications, onboarding, employee engagement, and workforce planning
- Collaborate closely with the culture and engagement leadership to ensure alignment across operational and experiential people function
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including 5+ years in senior leadership
- Expertise in HR operations, systems, compliance, and people management
- Strong ability to collaborate across departments and influence executive leadership
- Experience building scalable HR infrastructure in complex environments
Preferred Qualifications
- SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or other executive-level HR certification
- Background in nonprofit, regulated, or mission-driven organizations
- Experience leading transformation or HR modernization initiatives

Compensation And Benefits
This role starts at $110,000 per year, with increases based on education and experience.
