Overview
Make a meaningful impact in the Autism Community! As a Care Coordination Manager at Helping Hands Family, you will ensure all intake and assessment scheduling are promptly and timely attended to, Care Coordinators are trained on workflows and procedures, and clinic relationships are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations:
- Educate prospective clients on services offered by Helping Hands Family.
- Communicate with clients in the admissions process on status, timelines and any additional information needed.
- Insurance Case Management: obtaining authorizations, verifying coverage for services, and maintaining relationships with care managers.
- Manage the practice management (PM) system and electronic medical records system (EMR) for data integrity, including entering, organizing, and auditing client and insurance data.
- Assist and develop adequate communication and reporting of all team members and their metrics
- Evaluate the objectives of the group from an operational viewpoint and making recommendations regarding changes that may be appropriate given the company’s objectives
- Act as a liaison between clinics, care coordinators, families, and insurance.
- Observe daily operations and identify areas where modifications of policies and procedures will improve patient care or efficiency.
- Report on issues and trends in designated markets
- Ensure all intake timelines are maintained
- Ensure client/family satisfaction, including troubleshooting when there is a complaint and developing process improvements to prevent recurrences. Handle escalated phone calls.
- Ensures regulatory compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, labor laws, and other federal, state, and local regulations
- Support the growth of the company to meet company objectives
- Other duties and projects to be assigned as needed
- Training:
- Authorizations (submissions, case management, etc.)
- Systems (Central Reach, Podio, etc.)
- Intake workflow and processes
- Facilitate training and support for Care Coordination staff on:
- Recommend & implement new procedures for the team that maximize efficiency and relationships between the Care Coordination team and the clinics
- Ensure the regular training of personnel so they develop the knowledge and skills needed to perform their jobs and encourage individual employee development so that future needs of the group are adequately met
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Previous medical billing and EMR experience required.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organization and attention to detail.
- Confident communication skills for fielding calls on behalf of the agency and its representatives.
- Excellent written communication skills for professional emails and various reporting methods.
