Program Support Technician - Children's Center for Autism (CCA) - Rosenberg
Role Responsibilities
The Program Support Technician (PST) works in the Texana Children’s Center for Autism (CCA). The PST receives employment supervision from the CCA Senior Manager and Program Manager. The PST works closely with families, Behavior Analysts, Texana employees, and the community. The PST provides exceptional customer service. Duties of this position include but are not limited to the following: assisting the Program Manager and Senior Manager, vehicle inventory and maintenance, addressing routine building maintenance, verifying insurance for prospective and current clients, assisting with the intake process for prospective admissions. Assisting with duties of the Business Office Coordinator as needed. Returning calls on the voicemail log. The PST may be expected to serve as a receptionist at their designated location (Rosenberg/Sugar Land), scheduling and/or providing tours to potential families and assisting current families and employees as needed. The PST will do all online and community shopping for the designated locations. The PST will trouble shoot iPads issues. The PST will monitor employee attendance daily, create all performance coaching notes related to attendance and other procedural violations. In addition to creating these documents, the PST is responsible for delivering all written feedback for attendance and above-mentioned items as well as scanning and saving these documents in the appropriate folder. The PST signs all time cards for all non-exempt employees working in CCA. The PST will implement individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment plans with clients each day as needed. The PST will work directly with clients to increase appropriate skills and decrease challenging behaviors. The PST will provide verbal and physical prompts to clients as needed and collect data on client progress using an electronic device. The PST will cross train with the Business Office Specialist. The PST ensures that work is in compliance with Texana Center procedures and is responsible and accountable for the adherence to and promotion of the compliance policy. Hours 8:00am-4:30pm (with some variation depending upon the needs of the location) Monday-Friday with flex time based on needs of the department. Travel within the catchment area is required. Duties may change as program needs change.
Salary
- Ranges from $16.50 per hour to $18.78 per hour
Required Education and/or Certifications, Experience, Skills
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimal travel between CCA locations is required
- A valid Texas Driver’s License is required
- Administrative experience preferred
- Must be flexible and demonstrate an ability to problem solve
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to adhere to organizational policies and procedures and abide by code of ethics as indicated by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
- Accept and implement corrective feedback
- Effective time management skills and ability to multi-task
- Experience using Microsoft Word and Outlook (email and calendar functions)
- Experience developing and maintaining professional relationships with clients, co-workers, and supervisors
- Fingerprinting required through the Department of Public Safety
Job Related Physical Requirements
- Must be able to perform SAMA and CPR. Training is provided to employees once hired.
- Must be able to perform moderate to heavy lifting (15 pounds- 45 pounds), kneeling, pushing, stooping, climbing stairs, walking, standing, light carrying (15 pounds), repeated bending, reaching above shoulder, simple grasping, hearing, walking, running, sitting and twisting.
- Must have ability to see, write, operate office equipment, operate a motor vehicle and have depth perception.
