HR Assistant
Arizona’s first and only autism-focused charter school is seeking an HR Assistant with outstanding communication and administrative skills to help the Talent Management Team with daily administrative and HR tasks. This position will be based at our Talent Management office near 14th St and Indian School.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the hiring process of employees, including completing phone screens, scheduling interviews, verifying work history and references, and tracking candidates in the applicant tracking system, BambooHR.
- Help with new hire onboarding procedures, including assisting with employee orientation and ensuring hiring documents are collected and filed properly.
- Complete E-Verify for new employees.
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.
- Prepare reports and provide information to Directors from the BambooHR HRIS.
- Audit employee files to maintain compliance.
- Provide information and assist employees with HR-related needs and questions.
- Organize, compile, and update employee records and documentation as needed.
- Support the Human Resources/Talent Management department with any administrative needs.
- Represent Human Resources/Talent Management at the Phoenix campus.
- Provide excellent customer service to candidates and employees.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Salary:
$40,000- $50,000 per year (salaried non-exempt)
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of HR assistant experience
- Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint proficiency
- Google G-Suite experience
- Proficient with HRIS and ATS systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and be professional
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to problem solve and receive feedback
- School recruiting experience preferred
Required:
- Arizona IVP Level Fingerprint clearance card
- High School diploma or equivalent
ADA AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Positions in this class require: sitting, stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.
Physical Requirements:
Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally.
Working Conditions:
Work is routinely performed in an indoor office environment.
