Benchmark Human Services has grown to become one of the most respected leaders in the country in the areas of intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and behavioral health. We work with people of all ages at home, at work, and in the community through residential programs, employment services, crisis response, day services and more.
We are starting a new program in Tulsa, OK that supports individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in our Crisis Support Homes. The focus of this program is to provide time-limited crisis services that support individuals with developmental disabilities in the community. The IDD Crisis Home is used as a measure of last resort for individuals undergoing an acute crisis that presents a substantial risk of imminent harm to self or others. The goal is to stabilize the individual through nursing and behavioral supports, on a time limited basis.
We are hiring a
Residential Registered Nurse (RN HealthCare Coordinator) that will supervise health services for the department by providing staff training and direct intervention to meet the health care needs of the clients in the crisis homes, as well as provide intensive in-home services as needed

Job Responsibilities
- Provide direct monitoring, assessment, and staff training of health care services
- Function as a liaison and advocate for the clients when dealing with physicians, psychiatrists, hospitals, and consultants
- Provide on-going health care training and monitoring of Benchmark staff as required by state and federal regulations
- Responsible for maintaining prior authorizations or obtaining medications and treatments covered by client’s insurance plan or approved contractors.
- Responsible for scheduling and responding to pharmacy reviews.
- Complete daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly paperwork and assessments of clients’ health care needs.
- Provide guidance during client emergency medical situations.
- Monitor and maintain clients’ medical file to ensure that all documentation is current.
- Facilitate communication between all medical services providers, IDT, and supervisor to ensure quality of care.
- Attend all agency, departmental, and client specific meetings, including client appointments as directed.
- Provide on-call services to designated homes and individuals.
- Maintain nursing licensure and certifications including CPR, Mantoux Administration, etc. as required.
- Order competitively priced medical supplies using established formularies
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Knowledge of DDS Community Provider standards and organization policies and procedures
- Knowledge of health care privacy and confidentiality rules
- Knowledge of standard health care business practices
- Knowledge of Person-centered care and support for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
Qualifications
- Valid unrestricted Oklahoma Registered Nursing License to practice nursing in the state of OK
- Associate degree required
- Certification and ongoing training in crisis intervention curriculum.
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and/or mental illness who are in crisis.
- Valid State Nursing License and Driver’s License and auto insurance.
- Minimum of 1-year supervisory experience
- Must be computer literate.
- Must be willing to flex schedule accordingly to provide services, supports, care and treatment to individuals as required and be present to provide supervision to staff
- Must be experienced and competent in profession and main any applicable license, training, or and certifications.
