Achievement Behavior Services is an agency that was founded ten years ago, in 2015, by the joint efforts of dedicated BCBAs and LCSWs. We have a successful history of supporting children with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families with direct, in-home/in-community ABA therapeutic services. You will be supported by a lead, board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA) while you move through the individualized Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) that was scribed to help the student experience increased success in communication, focus, and positively adapting behaviors.Daily Expectations of a Behavior Technician:Engaging rapport building and curiosity to find creative solutions to help a student more effectively communicate their needs, wants, and feelingsMeasure, assess, and document skill acquisition of student's progress on the Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP)1:1 Goal-oriented, in home, direct service work with a student involving implementation of ABA approaches including but not limited to discrete trial teaching, prompting, modeling, redirection, reinforcements, and reward-systems.Thorough and comprehensive session-to-session documentation, data analysis, and billing.Actively engaging with clinical direction and professional feedback from BCBA supervisor(s)Communicate effectively and respectfully with clients or students, caregivers, supervisors, and coworkersThe Qualifications of a Behavior Technician:Most Relevant Areas of Study: Applied Behavior Analysis, psychology, Special education, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language PathologyPreferred: Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certificate from the Behavior Analyst Certification BoardStrong and multi-tiered stakeholder communication skills requiredAdaptability and decisiveness under high-stress situationsExhibits professional administrative reliability: punctuality and responsivenessProven experience working with pre-school and elementary school-aged childrenAdditional evidence of successful work with patients suffering from Autism and development issuesOther experience, certificates, or qualifications as required by NY State.Intuitive, engaging, compassionate, and person-centered approachesProven experience with documenting progress notes and data points aligning with individualized treatment plans and goalsStructured and creative play skillsWe are looking for a Technician on the Case below:Age ScheduleLocation6 y/o FMonday- Friday 3:30 - 7:30Elmont,
