General Description
This position is responsible for scheduling, preparing training materials for, and implementing re-certification training in support of our
May Center Randolph School and Residential Programs. A flexible schedule on occasion is required, including some evenings and an occasional weekend training session. This position requires the ability to communicate clearly orally and in writing.This position is required to maintain current trainer certifications in CPR, First Aid, Safety Care, and ALiCE.Computer literacy in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet applications is required.The position's responsibilities include processing registration forms, tracking attendance, and maintaining training records. This position also participates in additional projects related to training.

Specific Responsibilities Are Detailed Below
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Processesregistration forms and notifies managers and staff of training attendance. Schedules training rooms, sets up training rooms, and ensures participants sign in.
- Facilitates re-certification training- This position is responsible forleading re-certification training sessions, which include but are not limited to Safety Care, CPR, AED, and First Aid.
- Manages training session follow up- Documents staff participation in training, saves and files copies of training descriptor and employee acknowledgments per MCR process. Provides data that reflects employee training and certification for entry into the Learning Management System.
- Maintains training documentation- Updates and maintains training documentation, including rosters, sign in sheets, and other applicable forms.
- Submits supply orders in a timely fashion.
- Maintains training facilities and equipment- Maintains training and meeting rooms and training material storage areas. Additionally, maintains all training equipment and recommends replacement as needed.
- Interacts effectively and professionally- Interacts effectively and professionally with co-workers, trainees, managers, representatives of other organizations, supply vendors and conference facilities and follows the professional standards of the organization.
- Interacts effectively with groups of individuals- Is able to work with more than one individual at a time, encouraging participation in training programs, providing support and offering assistance in a manner that is supportive and respectful.
- Maintains trainer certificates- Completes the training programs required to adequately perform the functions of the job and other training as required by their supervisor or other management.
- Quality improvement - Participates in processes of continuous improvement to increase productivity, reduce inefficiencies and enhance the quality of services provided to the individuals we serve.

- Completes tasks - All assigned tasks are completed in an accurate and timely manner.

Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or related experience with demonstrated knowledge of Human Services. BCaBA preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience in human services management.
- Ability to deliver training to small and large audiences.
- Ability to facilitate discussions with small and large audiences.
- Previous experience with classroom training preferred.
- Must be able to achieve Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification within 8 months of start date.
