We’re opening a brand-new May Center School for Autism and Developmental Disabilities in Mansfield, MA —and we’re looking for a Director of Education to help bring it to life.
This is more than a leadership role— it’s a once-in-a-career opportunity to build something extraordinary from the ground up. As Director of Education, you’ll shape the school’s culture, guide a passionate team, and ensure our students receive exceptional, evidence-based educational services rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
Your Role In Action
- Launch & Lead : Be a key player in opening a new school—develop programs, shape systems, and recruit top talent.
- Inspire Teams : Mentor and manage special education teachers, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
- Drive Quality : Oversee IEP development and implementation, ensuring compliance and student progress.
- Partner for Success : Collaborate with families, districts, and clinical teams to support student achievement.
- Champion Innovation : Create a dynamic, student-centered learning environment grounded in ABA best practices.
What You Bring
- MA certification in Special Education Administration
or MA Special Ed license, Master’s in Special Ed, and 1+ year of admin experience
- 5+ years’ experience with students with autism and developmental disabilities
- Strong background in ABA; BCBA preferred
- Proven leadership and team-building skills
