At North Shore Pediatric Therapy in Deerfield, IL, is looking for a BCBA in training to join our team. In this role, you will work as a Registered Behavior Technician, while also assisting the Clinical Director with unrestricted supervision activities for a caseload of clients. You must currently be enrolled in a graduate-level ABA course and working towards your BCBA certification.

Who makes a great BCBA in Training?
- You are enrolled or completed in graduate-level ABA courses, and actively working towards certification as a BCBA
- You have 1 year experience of conducting ABA therapy with clients with Autism
- Those who know you describe you as having unflappable patience and compassion. Autism affects each person in diverse ways, and you will need to provide consistent, calm care and follow-up.
- You have an active RBT certification with the BACB
- You have a background in teaching, assisting, counseling, or coaching.
- You are comfortable working in a fast pace environment
- You have basic computer skills and pick up new technology quickly. We will teach you how to use our electronic medical system, where you will enter notes, assessments, and treatment summaries after each session.
What does a Assistant Clinical Coordinator / BCBA apprentice do?
The Assistant Clinical Coordinator is responsible for assisting the BCBA/Clinic Director team with unrestricted supervision activities for a caseload of clients. In addition to this responsibility, the ACC is required to maintain a role as a Behavior Therapist for approximately half the hours. The ACC will lead Behavior Therapist/Registered Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) training classes for onboarding and ongoing training.
