Our team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts and Behavior Therapists work 1:1 with each client to provide unique and personalized treatment plans. Our objective is to minimize challenging behaviors and increase life, language, and social skills so our clients can excel. Client performance is closely monitored to ensure they are gaining independence. We also stay in close contact with parents to educate and guide them with strategies to support the child’s progress at home.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Behavioral Health Technician located in Lakewood, NJ. The Behavioral Health Technician will assist in implementing behavior intervention plans, monitor client progress, and provide direct behavior analysis services under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Day-to-day tasks include working 1:1 with clients, collecting data on behavior and skills, and communicating with team members and families about progress and strategies.
Qualifications
- Skills in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis
- Strong Communication skills
- Expertise in Behavioral Intervention techniques
- Knowledge of Psychology principles
- Excellent observational and data collection skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in psychology or a related field is preferred
- Relevant certification or willingness to obtain certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is beneficial
