We are hiring an
Accounts Payable Team Lead to be responsible for paying all invoices, paying employee expenses, assigning purchase orders, assigning general ledger account numbers to expenses, and assisting with team day-to-day processes.

Job Responsibilities
- Assisting management with high level projects as needed.
- Responsible for all aspects of AP function, including collection of invoices, employee expenses, inputting data into the system, printing checks and mailing out checks.
- Familiarity with fixed assets.
- Training and development of new team members.
- Identify inefficiencies in accounts payable workflows and work with manager to implement enhancements.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and assist with internal / external audits by providing documentation and explanations.
- Familiarity with 1099 reporting and tax compliance.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Report any suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation immediately to the supervisor or department head.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all standards to assure the health and safety of all individuals.
- Report to work as scheduled.
Skills And Abilities
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft products
- Time management skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate’s degree in accounting is preferred.
- Five years accounts payable experience required with one year in a lead or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes.
