SUMMARY:
A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will provide clinical support and supervision to staff on assignment through our partnership with the Advanced Clinical Services program of the CCIU. The BCBA position will have the primary responsibility of providing clinical supervision to staff who are fulfilling their RBT hours or completing their BCBA internship. This will include providing direct, on-site supervision across all areas of Chester County, PA as well as cases in Montgomery County, PA. In addition, virtual, group supervision will be provided after work hours for both BCBA and RBT groups. The Behavior Analyst will ensure that all regulations and documentation are being met as required by the BACB for BCBA interns and RBT supervision. The position will provide ongoing feedback and training to meet the individualized needs of the BCBA interns and RBT staff. This position is responsible for the design, direction, and implementation of positive behavioral supports provided to students. The incumbent will provide high quality services in the areas of functional behavioral assessment, positive behavior support plan development, verbal behavior assessment, consultation, and staff training.
- 200 day position - includes 10 summer work days
- Salary/year range $69,000-$75,000 (based on years of experience as a BCBA)
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) staff and Board Certified Behavior Analyst interns. Maintain record of supervision to meet credentialing standards.
- Provide professional development to professional and non-professional staff in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and other evidence-based methodologies as a component of supervision.
- Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) for individual students. Prepare comprehensive reports on the FBA.
- Develop Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSP) for individual students utilizing evidence-based interventions. Write programs for students to assist in teaching skill deficits, maintaining acquired skills, teaching self-help skills and developing social skills.
- Train staff on FBAs and PBSPs and systematically evaluate the consistent implementation of PBSPs through personal observation, staff consultation, and review of progress monitoring.
- Develop and implement data collection systems to monitor student progress. Assist in the preparation and analysis of on-going progress monitoring data.
- Provide on-going consultation and support on a student, classroom, and school-wide basis as requested.
- Participate in IEP team meetings to discuss FBAs, PBSPs, and student progress.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field
- 3 + years of post BCBA certification experience
