Position Overview
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for providing advanced financial analysis and strategic support to inform key business decisions. This role supports financial planning and forecasting processes, prepares reports and presentations for executive leadership and the Board, and contributes to the evaluation and execution of mergers and acquisitions. The Senior Financial Analyst collaborates closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to provide insights that drive growth, improve operational efficiency, and support long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities
- Own the annual budgeting and rolling forecast process; lead variance analysis and scenario modeling to support strategic decisions.
- Prepare and enhance monthly and quarterly reporting packages, including board materials and investor updates.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and KPI reporting across key business units, geographies, and service lines.
- Perform deep-dive financial analysis on revenue, margins, utilization, and cost drivers to identify opportunities and risks.
- Serve as a cross-functional partner with Operations, RCM, Clinical, and HR to improve financial transparency and decision-making.
- Provide financial modeling and due diligence support for M&A activity; assist with post-close integration planning and tracking.
- Maintain, enhance, and automate financial models used for planning, performance tracking, and lender compliance.
- Support periodic reporting requirements for private equity sponsors, lenders, and other external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree or training preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a PE-backed, multi-site healthcare, or services business.
- Advanced Excel modeling skills required; experience with Tableau, Power BI, or SQL/Python is a strong plus.
- Proven ability to analyze complex data, draw insights, and present findings clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to influence without authority across teams.
- Highly organized self-starter who thrives in a high-growth, dynamic environment and can manage multiple priorities under pressure.
