The Lead RBT implements behavior analytic programs written by the Assistant Supervisor (BCaBA), Clinical Supervisor (BCBA) and/or Center Director in order to teach communication, social, and other functional skills to clients. The Lead RBT provides direct care to all clients on their team by assisting in their daily routine to ensure their health, wellness, and happiness
The Lead RBT provides direct care to all clients on their team by assisting in their daily routine to ensure their health, wellness, and happiness. The Lead RBT must continue to meet all criteria, competencies, and activities for RBT 1, 2, and 3. Lead RBTs may be asked to probe skills and protocols for new and current clients under the supervision of an Assistant Supervisor (BCaBA), Clinical Supervisor (BCBA) and/or Center Director. They may also open or close the center as needed, may work the front desk on a substitute basis, may sit in on and provide input after interviews, and may begin to work on a deeper understanding of operational metrics for the center.
- Meets or exceeds the dependability, documentation, and clinical supervision
requirements of the RBT 3 role.
- Effectively handles complex actions, tasks, and Uses technology and logic to streamline
and simplify processes and integrate efficiencies for the center.
- May occasionally sub in for Operations roles and/or open/close clinic as needed
- Understands appropriate operational metrics critical to the success of the (e.g., admin
time, pipelines)
- Under the guidance of the Learning and Performance Development (LPD) Department
and center leadership, mentor new BTs and RBTs by assisting in the onboarding and
training efforts once deemed competent to provide training for team members
- Acts as a mentor for newer or less experienced staff on all clinical skills, especially in
regard to documentation, taking data, and the technical aspects of RBT role.
- Participates in interviews as needed to offer feedback to OM and CD
- Willing and able to work in center, in-home, or in community settings
- Has completed all required training in LearnUpon
