What You’ll Do
- Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in the client’s home
- Use behavior intervention techniques to build communication, daily living, and social skills
- Record data and track progress using a mobile device
- Work closely with our clinical team and the child’s family to support their goals
- Help create a positive, structured, and encouraging learning environment
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled or recently graduated in a Speech-Language Pathology, Education, Psychology, or related program
- Passion for working with children with autism or communication delays
- Patience, empathy, and a strong sense of responsibility
- Reliable transportation within Queens
- Willingness to complete a 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) course (paid training included)
- 6-month minimum commitment
Ideal Experience (not Required)
- Working with children in any capacity (babysitting, tutoring, camp, classroom)
- Exposure to non-verbal communication tools or speech/language strategies
- Interest in special education, ABA therapy, or clinical practice
