Position Overview
- The Staff Psychologist position is responsible for conducting biopsychosocial evaluations for patients with a range of neurodevelopmental and behavioral health disorders in order to direct them towards appropriate therapeutic interventions. They also assess/reassess the efficacy of behavioral health interventions that are being provided through community-based services. Must be licensed in the State of Pennsylvania to be considered as this is a part time, remote position.
Essential Job Functions
- Conduct biopsychosocial evaluations in accordance with Pennsylvania Medical Assistance guidelines.
- Determine medical necessity for therapeutic interventions.
- Develop programs to support patients and families including therapeutic interventions appropriate for individuals up to 21 years of age.
- Evaluate treatment progress of community-based therapeutic interventions.
- Required Qualifications, Education, and Experience
- PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology and licensed in Pennsylvania.
- Ability to work well with families and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task.
- Knowledge of current literature and treatment trends.
- Knowledge of Pennsylvania’s behavioral health Systems of Care.

- This job is primarily a remote role conducted in an environment of the employee’s choosing.

- This job operates in both a professional and or home office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as a computer/tablet, phone, photocopier, filing cabinet, and printer.
- Ability to perform tasks involving physical activity, which may include light-medium moving and extensive self-positioning.
