INVO is seeking a skilled and compassionate
Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in a high-performing charter school in Lynn, MA. The OT will support students with a range of physical, sensory, and cognitive challenges, helping them to access and succeed in their educational environment. This role involves collaboration with teachers, families, and special education teams to develop and implement individualized strategies that improve students’ functional and academic performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments to determine student needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-regulation, and daily living skills.
- Provide direct and consultative OT services to students in individual, group, or classroom settings.
- Collaborate with educators, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to integrate therapy goals into the classroom and school routines.
- Educate staff and families on strategies to support student development and independence.
- Monitor and document student progress; maintain accurate therapy records and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide data-informed recommendations.
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive school culture.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current Massachusetts license as an Occupational Therapist.
- NBCOT certification.
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in an educational setting.
- Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic approaches and adaptive equipment.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
