Role Description
This is a on-site role for a School Psychologist located in Buckeye, Tempe, and Queen Creek areas. The School Psychologist will be responsible for providing counseling and mental health support and collaborating with teachers and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs). Additionally, the School Psychologist will help implement Positive Behavioral Supports and strategies that address students' academic and social/emotional needs.
Qualifications
- Psychology and Psychological Assessment skills
- Counseling and Mental Health support experience
- Knowledge in the field of education as it relates to psychological and mental health of youth in kindergarten through high school
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and students
- Master's or Doctorate degree in School Psychology or related field
- Certification as a School Psychologist in Arizona
- Experience in special education settings is a plus
