Pay range $130,000-$150,000
Position Details
The Director of Clinical Portfolios will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of IT and healthcare projects within the organization. This role requires a strategic leader who can align project outcomes with the company's goals, develop and implement policies and procedures, and manage project demands effectively. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both IT and healthcare sectors, demonstrating a strong ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement.
Job Specific Functions
- Policy Writing: Develop and implement policies that ensure project management practices align with industry standards and organizational goals.
- Procedure Development: Create and refine procedures to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Strategic Alignment: Ensure all projects are aligned with the organization's strategic objectives and contribute to its overall mission.
- Demand Management: Oversee the prioritization and allocation of resources to meet project demands and deadlines.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of project managers, providing guidance and support to achieve project success.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity and success.
- Performance Monitoring: Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.

Knowledge
- In-depth understanding of project management principles and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).

Our Ideal Candidate Will Possess The Following Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master's degree or PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.
- Ongoing professional development in project management methodologies and industry-specific trends.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale IT and healthcare projects.
