Job Description
We’re seeking a talented, full-time Audiologist to join our school-based services team in San Francisco, CA.
Professional License Requirements:
Applicants are required to have the following, legally mandated certifications. Applicants without these requirements will not be considered.
- Have active state-level licensure as an Audiologist
- Hold a master's degree in Audiology from an accredited university
What to expect from this role:
- Experience working in schools or with children is a plus but not required.
- Evaluate hearing and balance disorders that affect students’ ability to perform daily activities and reach their educational goals
- Develop/improve individual’s ability to effectively communicate and participate in classroom activities
- Serve as a member of the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) team for students with audiology concerns
- Facilitate goals and objectives per child’s educational plan
- Maintain appropriate records
- Work in coordination with school personnel and parents to develop appropriate programs for eligible students
- Effectively communicate with teachers, administrators, and parents
- Perform other audiology duties/responsibilities required by the Program and within the scope of licensure and/or certification
- Ensure all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations
