Description
The Senior Recruiter will collaborate with hiring managers and People Operations to identify, attract, and develop a diverse talent pipeline and hire the very best candidates who align with ACP’s mission, vision, values, and workplace culture. The Recruiter is responsible for the full cycle recruitment (sourcing, screening, interviewing, developing, and negotiating offers, up to obtaining HR clearance) of all potential candidates.
Essential Functions
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
- Understand ACP’s business model, brand, and culture to create best-in-class and inclusive candidate experience.
- Develop and execute a sourcing strategy using a combination of talent branding, external search and postings, direct sourcing, social media, internal talent mining, identifying new talent pools and other relevant methods.
- Understand recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives and partnering with managers to discuss needs.
- Utilize applicant tracking systems (Paylocity) and web-based recruiting tools.
- Proactively, search on traditional and non-traditional data sources such as: job boards, internal databases, search engines, social media, web mining, events, career fairs, college events and referrals, etc. to identify and attract quality candidates
- Actively post on social media and job relevant groups to gain candidate’s attention and build pipelines
- Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; and maintaining rapport.
- Review applications and coordinate interviews/screens.
- Facilitate and execute full cycle recruitment (sourcing, interviewing, salary negotiation), and collaborate with People Operations during the onboarding process of new candidates - up to HR clearance.
- Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants on a consistent set of qualifications, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.
- Develops rapport with local candidates and networks to foster long-term relationships for future openings.
- Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to give and receive feedback on the interview and recruiting process.
- Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal teams to ensure achievement of staffing goals.
- Manage the interview, assessment, and shortlisting processes
- Maintain a lead database
- Act as a mentor to new hires and other therapist recruiters
- Act as a role model for team. Lead by example.
- Present “out of the box” ideas to address hiring deficiencies
- Completes full cycle recruitment from sourcing candidate through to onboarding.
- Participate in weekly Recruiting meeting and report out on all previous week’s recruiting activity.
- Create reports to analyze data and trends.
- Manages current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Maintains and tracks data using Microsoft Excel, ATS and other platforms deemed necessary.

Work Environment
This position operates in a typical office or hybrid environment.
Physical Demands
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
Travel Required
Occasional travel between office locations may be required.
Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR or related field preferred.
- Prior sourcing/hunting and full cycle recruiting experience in a high-volume environment (required).
- Experience with full life cycle recruiting within a behavioral healthcare environment (preferred).
- ABA Recruiting experience strongly preferred.
- Preference will be given to candidates with ABA Recruiting experience and/or 1-2 years high volume recruiting experience.
- Demonstrated success in a competitive talent market with a strong focus on diversity and expertise in sourcing techniques in social media, direct recruiting, and other recruiting strategies.
Additional Requirements

- Strong computer skills- Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Windows, specifically Excel
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant tracking system (ATS) human resource information system (HRIS)--Paylocity (preferred), and similar computer applications.
