Damar Services is seeking a talented and motivated Project Coordinator whose primary responsibilities include the administrative aspects of coordinating various projects across campus (such as construction and renovation), communicating with vendors, and following up with ongoing projects. The Project Coordinator will work with a variety of teams and departments at Damar, such as the Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Food and Nutrition departments. This is a great position to gain experience in project coordination and management!
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
- can require some evening/weekend work (depending on project)

- Responsible for coordinating project schedules, resources, equipment, and information.
- Identifies and defines project requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Ensures needs are met as project evolves.
- Helps prepare budgets.
- Monitors project progress and handles any issues that arise.
- Acts as point of contact and communicated project status to all stakeholders.
- Uses tools to monitor working hours, plans, and expenditures.
- Maintains high quality of work.
- Performs all tasks as assigned.
- Performs duties in a manner consistent with organizational objectives and growth.
What You Need To Be Considered...
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or application discipline required, MBA preferred
- Previous administrative/clerical experience in a project managment setting preferred.
- Expert level Microsoft Office experience and abilty to read building plans.
- Minimum age of 21 depending on program and / or department requirements.
- Must meet and maintain background screening requirements for all Damar Programs as detailed in policy 1.HR.02 Pre-Employment and Employee Background Checks.
- Valid Indiana driver’s license and driving record that meets eligibility requirements of Damar’s insurance carrier.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and physical required.

Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight (up to 35lbs); to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; to travel to other locations using various modes of private and commercial transportation; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
Hearing: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
