Achievement Behavior Services is a boutique, in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy agency. As professionals, we are dedicated to the mission of connecting families with children who have varying diagnoses of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) to comprehensive ABA tools, principals, and practice, With every client, we aim for sustainable success and increased confidence during the learner's school-aged years. The demographic that we are students between the ages of 3 and 23 years of age. We operate at the leadership of LCSWs and BCBAs, and have been learning and growing as an ABA agency since 2015. Presently, we are seeking ABA Behavioral Technicians/Therapists (BTs) to join our network of dedicated ABA professionals. You will be supported by a lead, board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA) while you move through the individualized Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) that was scribed to help the student experience increased success in communication, focus, and positively adapting behaviors. According to this BIP, daily, you will collect numerical and qualitative data on these goals. The charted progress will be used to create new, personalized interventions and goals as the relationship with the student progresses from month-to-month. ABA Behavior Technician Tasks:Enthusiastic engagement and rapport building from session-to-sessionAn understanding the Applied Behavior Analysis Philosophy and PracticesMeasure, assess, and document skill acquisition of student's progress on the Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP)1:1 Goal-oriented, in home, direct service work with a student involving implementation of ABA approaches including but not limited to discrete trial teaching, prompting, modeling, redirection, reinforcements, and reward-systems.Thorough and comprehensive session-to-session documentation, data analysis, and billing.Actively engaging with clinical direction and professional feedback from BCBA supervisor(s)Communicate effectively and respectfully with clients or students, caregivers, supervisors, and coworkersExpectations and Qualifications of an ABA Behavior Technician:Study patient behavior and apply ABA principlesRelevant Areas of Study: applied behavior analysis, speech language pathology, occupational therapy, psychology, special educationRespond appropriately to different situations common among Autism patients and others with behavioral and developmental challengesUtilize key communication skills to provide effective feedback to patientsEffectively communicate positive feedback to patientsBe able to recognize and respond to critical improvements in patient behaviors.Become familiar with and use behavioral redirection techniquesKnow how to respond to negative behaviors appropriatelyProvide written documentation on each patient.Taking initiative to actively seek clinical direction from supervisor when support is neededRespectful and consistent communication with all stakeholders including, but not limited to client caregivers and students, supervisors, and coworkersEngaging in bidirectional feedback loops with professional attitude Start the conversation NOW & apply to become a Behavior Technician with Achievement Behavior Services - We'd love to have you!
