What You'll Be Doing At Autism Care Partners
The Safety Trainer serves an important role in ensuring safety of ACP employees and clients. This role will ensure all center-based employees are provided with high quality didactic and in vivo training to prevent and reduce risk of injury. The Safety Trainer will work closely with the Director of Training and Quality to assist with other training and quality initiatives as needed.
Essential Functions
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position
- Provide didactic and in vivo trainings to staff across several centers regarding best practice safety techniques using Safety Care Monitor ongoing training needs and expiration dates to ensure all individuals remain current on their certification
- Additional support as needed to the Director of Training and Quality

- Must be willing and able to utilize quick body movements
Travel Required
- Travel between designated centers (located in: Danvers, Westford, Framingham, Amherst, Lawrence, Worcester, Auburn, Holyoke, & Ludlow ) is a requirement of this position.
Education And Experience
- High school diploma
- Experience working in a center-based ABA treatment program is preferred but not required
Additional Requirements
- Employees in this role are considered essential workers as part of the critical infrastructure.
- No prior criminal history.
- Ability to use technology.
- Strong computer skills required (Microsoft Office, Teams)
- Acquire and maintain active Safety Care Trainer certification
- Complete 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician training.
- May require RBT certification depending on needs of the role.
- Acquire and maintain active Basic CPR/First Aid Certification
