Position Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals to join our growing team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will work one-on-one with clients, implementing ABA treatment plans developed by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and supporting the progress of each client’s unique goals. This position is ideal for a Direct Support Professional who is enthusiastic about learning, passionate about helping others, and committed to high-quality care.
Direct Support Professional Responsibilities:
- Deliver ABA therapy to clients in a variety of settings, including the client’s home, school, or community, as directed by the BCBA, following guidelines and standards
- Implement individualized treatment plans with consistency and fidelity under BCBA supervision, ensuring all practices are adhered to
- Collect and record data accurately, documenting client progress and behavior changes according to protocols
- Work collaboratively with BCBAs and other team members, participating in regular supervision meetings and Direct Support Professional training sessions
- Provide compassionate support and clear guidance to clients and families, building rapport and promoting a positive therapy experience as a Direct Support Professional
- Follow company policies and ethical guidelines to maintain the highest standards of professional conduct
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Willingness to complete Registered Behavior Technician certification within the first 90 days of employment if required by state law
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field is a plus
- Reliable, compassionate, and dedicated to helping others as a Direct Support Professional
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with clients and their families
- Ability to follow detailed instructions, implement treatment plans accurately, and collect data as directed
- Physical ability to work with young children, including the ability to sit, stand, lift, and move as needed during therapy sessions
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation if required to travel to client locations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with children, especially in an ABA or special education setting
- Bilingual abilities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in data collection as a Direct Support Professional
- Interest in a long-term career in behavioral health, with aspirations to pursue further ABA certifications
