Purpose: As a member of the BI Team, the Facilities Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all our center-based locations and home office. They are responsible for overseeing general upkeep, coordinating with vendors for specialized services, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations across multiple states. This role is essential for maintaining a conducive environment for our operations, staff, and clients.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- General Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of all facilities to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly. This includes but is not limited to, repairing fixtures, equipment, and structural issues.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with and oversee vendors for HVAC, plumbing, painting, electrical, and cleaning services to ensure timely and quality work.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for facility maintenance and repairs, optimizing resources to meet organizational needs.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all facilities meet safety standards and regulatory requirements, conducting regular assessments and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Emergency Response: Develop and implement emergency response plans for facilities, including procedures for evacuations, natural disasters, and other emergencies.
- Staff Training: Provide training to staff on facility-related matters, including safety protocols, equipment operation, and emergency procedures.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, vendor contracts, and expenditures. Generate reports as needed for management review.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings in facility management operations. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Expectations:
- Identify potential risks and issues associated with site improvement projects and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact. Anticipate challenges and proactively address them to prevent disruptions to project timelines or budgets.
- Develop comprehensive project plans for site improvement initiatives on a quarterly and annual basis. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify priorities, establish timelines, and allocate resources effectively.
- Ensure that all site improvement projects are executed in a timely manner, adhering to established schedules and deadlines. Proactively identify and address any obstacles or delays to keep projects on track.
- Manage project budgets meticulously, tracking expenses and ensuring that all expenditures remain within approved limits. Implement cost-saving measures where possible without compromising quality or safety standards.
- Keep stakeholders informed of project progress, milestones, and any deviations from the plan. Provide regular updates through meetings, reports, and other communication channels.
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Travel at least 50% of the time.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience (7+ years) in facilities management, preferably in a multi-site environment.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, codes, and regulations.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial management.
