Harrisburg, PA.
Schedule: PRN; Work on an as-needed basis without a set schedule.
Earn $18.91/hour
Position Details
Residential Workers are essential to promoting the safety, stability, and overall well-being of individuals in a community residential rehabilitation setting. They provide direct care and support, addressing both mental and physical health needs, while actively participating in the treatment planning process as part of a collaborative care team.
- Assist in developing and implementing activities and other special projects designed to increase skills in independent and community living, socialization/leisure time.
- Build on strengths to promote positive growth for the consumer.
- Engage consumers in appropriate life skills to develop abilities to live as independently as possible.
- Accompany consumers on trips outside the facilities for treatment medical or any other appropriate reasons.
- Carry up to 50 pounds occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds continuously throughout the workday.
