Aspire Living & Learning is currently seeking a Training Coordinator (TC). Aspire Living & Learning Training Coordinator plays a vital role in responsible coordinating and facilitating Aspire Living & Learning’s educational components. This person is a member of the People and Culture Team, reporting to the workplace learning championing workplace learning initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
The TC will support the implementation of Aspire’s learning, development and training platforms. The TC will partner with team members to support the respective Aspire locations. Below outlines key aspects of the roles and responsibilities this position holds:
- Conduct training as required and assigned.
- Use materials built by the agency
- Assures records of all trainings are held within TMS-Therap
- Assume Therap Super Adm role as assigned
- Assume Relias super Adm role as assigned
- Maintain a schedule of Quarterly auditing of staff training records
- Organize and facilitate Aspire’s onboarding seven-day program
- Train trainers, using the Aspire train the trainer model
- Share all observational documents with the primary supervisor of the staff observed.
- Maintain library of training material in agency Training Resources -SharePoint
- Attend weekly Workplace Learning Team meetings
- Collaborate with agency Training Managers
- Participate in providing Micro-Trainings during Aspire Monthly Community Meeting- as planned
- Understand, train and provide observational support of the agencies – Staff Observational Practices model
- Assure record keeping of observational work
- Works collaboratively with Quality Enhancement/Quality Assurance personnel and their supervisor; Senior Director of Service Impact;
- Develop and execute a report out structure on work performed monthly
- Develop performance indicators with the Senior Director of Service Impact- to guide report out
- Cultivate a positive and productive workplace atmosphere to enhance team morale and productivity.
- Participate in and complete training sessions as delegated by management to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.
- Perform any additional job responsibilities assigned by supervisors or team leaders to support the organization's smooth operation.
- Accept reassignment as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required; Master’s degree strongly preferred
- Must have at least five years’ experience in a management role in a human service setting
- Must have satisfactory background checks
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
Skills and Abilities:
- Adept with technology
- Capacity to operate effectively across geographic or educational locations
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including leadership, influencing and relationship building
- Excellent oral/written communications skills including group facilitation and presentation skills;
- Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning processes, instructional design techniques and evaluation methodologies
Working Conditions:
- This position operates in a professional office environment.
- Some infrequent day and/or overnight travel possible.
- Some holiday work required to meet the operational need.
