Description
First Steps is Missouri’s Early Intervention system that provides services to families with children, birth to three years of age, with disabilities or developmental delays. Benchmark Human Services in the St. Louis office is seeking qualified and caring people to work as a Service Coordinator in St. Louis City for MO First Steps.

Salary: $48,530-$58,909/annually based on years of experience

Key Responsibilities
- Support Families: Enable access to vital services for infants and toddlers with disabilities or developmental delays.
- Guide Eligibility: Assist in the determination process and conduct family assessments.
- Collaborate: Participate in Early Intervention Team (EIT) meetings and work directly with providers to ensure quality, pertinent evaluations and assessments.
- Document Progress: Accurately track and document timelines within the first 45 days.
- Ensure Quality: Monitor timeliness and quality of evaluations and assessments to ensure timeliness to implement IFSP.
- Facilitate Transitions: Develop transition plans for children who are late referrals to the First Steps program.

General Qualifications
- Reliable transportation
- Valid auto insurance and driver’s license
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in one of the following: Early Childhood Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child/Human Development, Social Work, Public Health, Sociology, Nursing, or Psychology and 1 year experience working with children and families OR degree and 3 years experience working with children and families
- Meet provider enrollment qualifications for a Service Coordinator
