Pharmacy Technician PRN Float
Role Responsibilities
The Pharmacy Technician, Float Pool assists in the clerical, administrative, and operational functions of the pharmacy service unit and reports to the Pharmacist Manager. Additional instruction may be given by the staff pharmacist. Routine Pharmacy hours are 8AM to 5PM Monday through Friday, with occasional schedule changes to allow for variations in work flow demand and travel. The pharmacy is located in Wharton but will be relocating to Rosenberg Fall 2025. Float Pool staff work on an as needed basis. The Technician is responsible and accountable for the adherence to and promotion of the compliance policy.
Salary
- 90% - $19.38/hour
- 95% - $20.45/hour
- 100% - $21.53/hour
Required Education and/or Certifications, Experience, Skills
- The applicant must be a current Certified Pharmacy Technician.
- The applicant must have a current Texas State Board of Pharmacy registration.
- The applicant must have a current Texas driver’s license.
- One year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Job Related Physical Requirements
- Must be able to perform moderate lifting and carrying (15-44#), pushing, stooping, repeated bending, reaching above shoulder, simple grasping, hearing, walking, sitting and twisting.
- Must have ability to see, write, operate office equipment, operate a motor vehicle and have depth perception.
- Qualified individual must be able to perform these functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
