We are seeking compassionate and skilled
Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide
private duty nursing for a kind and soft-spoken woman transitioning home from Mary Freebed to her residence in Kalamazoo. She requires
24/7 skilled nursing care along with
24/7 attendant care, with an aide on shift alongside the nurse for additional support.

Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care in a home setting
- Monitor and manage medical needs, medications, and therapies
- Work collaboratively with a dedicated aide on shift
- Ensure comfort, dignity, and safety in her home environment
- Communicate with family and medical professionals as needed
Qualifications:
✔
Active RN or LPN license in Michigan
✔ Experience in
home health, private duty nursing, or rehabilitation care preferred
✔ Strong
clinical skills, including
medication management, wound care, and mobility assistance
✔ Ability to provide
compassionate, patient-centered care
✔ Excellent
communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities
- Perform duties outlined in patient's plan of care
- TBI + SCI rehabilitation
- Adult/ Pediatrics
- Ventilator and Tracheotomy care (Training Provided)
- Gastrostomy tube care (Training Provided)
- Dispensing medications
- Observe client’s physical, mental and emotional conditions.
- Report any changes
- Document observed changes
- Communicates effectively with Clinical team to increase optimal outcomes
- Maintains professional nature within the home setting
Required Qualifications, Skills, And Knowledge
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to utilize computers/tablets and computer software
- Current state license as an RN or LPN
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Current negative TB skin test or negative chest X-ray
- CPR certified
