Position Summary
We are seeking an
Email Marketing Coordinator to support and execute our growing email marketing efforts. This person will help build and maintain automated email journeys, coordinate ongoing email communications, and contribute to our overall lifecycle marketing goals. You will work closely with the marketing, intake, and clinical teams to make sure families, clients, and partners receive relevant and engaging emails at the right time.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who’s tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and familiar with
Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Advanced edition preferred). The role is based in our El Segundo office Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.
Key Responsibilities
Automated Drip Campaigns:
- Help build and manage automated email journeys based on lead and client journey, audience segmentation, engagement level, location, and lifecycle status.
- Set up workflows using Salesforce Marketing Cloud Advanced, including personalization, segmentation, and dynamic content.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure automations align with program milestones and customer needs.
Ongoing Email Campaigns
- Plan and execute recurring email campaigns focused on educational topics, company updates, and special announcements.
- Create campaign briefs, design layouts (experience with Figma or Canva a plus), write or refine copy, schedule sends, and QA across devices.
- Track and report on campaign performance, providing insights to inform future content.
- Maintain and update the email calendar to ensure timely, consistent communication.
Technical Setup & Execution
- Build and schedule emails using Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and other tools within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Troubleshoot deliverability or formatting issues as needed.
- Assist with maintaining list hygiene and segment accuracy.
Reporting & Optimization
- Track and summarize performance metrics like open rates, click-through rates, and unsubscribes.
- Share insights to help improve future campaigns.
- Participate in testing new ideas or A/B subject lines and layouts.
Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in email marketing, ideally in healthcare or services.
- Comfortable writing and editing copy for email campaigns.
- Basic design skills using Figma, Canva, or Adobe tools.
- Self-starter who can work independently with minimal guidance—this role requires someone ready to take initiative and execute with limited training.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage several projects at once.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar platform (Advanced edition preferred).
- Familiarity with lifecycle marketing or customer journeys.
- Background in ABA, healthcare, or behavioral services.
- Understanding of HIPAA-compliant marketing practices.
