*This position is 100% onsite at our South Bend Warehouse location; hours are 8 a.m. - 4:30p.m.*
Job Summary:
The Purchasing Clerk is responsible for placing, processing, and scheduling orders for centers and departments. They will also be responsible for helping upload receipts and entering transactions into Quickbooks.
Education/Experience Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
· 2+ years of ordering and purchasing experience in a business setting

· Knowledge of purchasing practices and procedures
· Strong organizational skills
· Ability to be key business partner with clinical directors and managers
· Demonstrates strong analytical skills
· Exhibits a high level of attention to details
· Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact with numerous individuals
· Highly motivated, self-starter willing to deliver results and meet strict deadlines
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Products such as Word and Excel, being able to perform basic formulas in cells and manipulate rows and columns
· Quickbooks experience is a plus
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Facilitate all purchase order approvals and ensure accuracy of all deliveries
· Evaluate all purchase order claims and ensure compliance to all company processes and procedures
· Coordinate with vendors to maintain optimal product quality and recommend improvements
· Utilize most cost-effective use of purchasing methods and payment methods
· Document all credit card purchases and match corresponding receipts
· Facilitate receipt of purchases for new centers and confirm placement in designated areas
· Other Ad hoc reports and assignments
· Position on-site in South Bend
· Purchasing for new centers, receiving items, and balancing credit card statements
