At Autism 360, we are looking for an
RBT Trainer/Staff Support Specialist to support our Clinical Department with training and mentorship and provide quality one to one ABA therapy services as needed.
In this role, you will assist the clinical team in the training and development of new Behavior Technicians. This role is ideal for someone who loves fostering a positive teaching environment and is passionate about all things ABA. The RBT Trainer/Staff Support Specialist provides initial training and actively coaches Behavior Technicians through the BACB© RBT Task List. Individuals looking to further their career growth in ABA, students currently enrolled in a master’s degree program for ABA or experienced RBTs are encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities
Fulfills all responsibilities of the Registered Behavior Technician within sessions AND:
- Delivers trainings as assigned by the Clinical Department.
- Jointly oversees a treatment team of Behavior Technicians (BT).
- Enrolls staff in Register Behavior Technician (RBT) training sequence and removes when completed.
- Directs staff in completion of training by assigning tasks and materials.
- Monitors staff progress on RBT training sequence via online database.
- Schedules and meets daily to support staff education one on one or in group settings virtually or in person.
- Reports and collaborates with Human Resources Manager (HRM) and Mentorship Coordinator (MC) with any staff concerns or feedback.
- Creates training supplements for RBT training sequence and additional trainings needed for continued education.
- Collaborates with HRM and Scheduling Coordinators to schedule staff for shifts determined by training sequence.
- Notifies BCBA/MC when staff are ready for performance reviews or competency assessment.
- Acts as assistant assessor for RBT competences based on internal assessment.
- Serves as a peer liaison within clinic.
- Supports agency BCBAs in creation and maintenance of materials, assisting with learner assessments and programming, and overseeing implementation of behavior analysis programs by BT/RBTs.
- Acts as RBT Trainer/Staff Support Specialist between 90-100% of weekly scheduled hours.
- Acts as RBT to provide behavior analysis services as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Bachelor’s Degree in education or other related field preferred or equivalent relevant experience or equivalent relevant combination of education and experience
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Ability to work with staff, learners, and the public in a professional and concerned manner.
- Must possess unrestricted, state appropriate driver’s license and current vehicle insurance.
Preferred Experience
- Student of ABA working toward becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst; BCaBA certification preferred.
- Minimum two years of work experience working with children with developmental disabilities and/or Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Physical Demands
- Must possess the visual acuity to develop written correspondence and determine accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.
- Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of talking, hearing, being on one’s feet for long periods of time and performing repetitive motions, such as using repeated gestures.
- Must be able to speak audibly, write legibly and perform repetitive motions such as typing.
- Must have physical stamina and ability to match energy level of participants, including floor play with small children, bending, stooping, and reaching.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
